The Project

The Project

Sometimes it can be difficult to understand what fewer opportunities mean. We find seven categories of people with fewer opportunities: 1) Economic 2) Social 3) Disability 4) Educational difficulties 5) Cultural differences 6) Health problems 7) Geographical barriers Young people with fewer opportunities are those who are at a disadvantage compared to their peers because they face one or more of the situations and barriers listed in the non-exhaustive list below. In some contexts, these situations or barriers prevent young people from having effective access to formal and non-formal education, transnational mobility and participation, active citizenship, empowerment and integration into society at large.

Their difficulty in actively participating in society is the goal of the group of young people, who saw sport as a way to be socially active and active in society. The participation of young people in a learning process today plays an important role in helping young people to make full use of their potential, autonomy, initiative and participation in society through non-formal methods and tools of education. The main idea of the project is to raise awareness and information of young people (18-30 years old) and then disseminate other issues related to basic information on ways to integrate, activate, activate and engage in sports and society at large.

The project aims to provide methods for fully informing the situation through specialized lectures and expert presentations, and to suggest ways for people with fewer opportunities to find a way out and a solution to the difficulties they face. For this purpose, the project is aimed at young people from Greece, in order to train them for effective awareness and information, as well as for the modification of their activities in order to defend, support and integrate people with fewer opportunities in sports.
